If you’ve found a sick, injured or orphaned kangaroo or any native animal in distress, call Wildlife Victoria on 03 8400 7300. They coordinate emergency wildlife rescues across the state and can direct you to the nearest available carer.

Red Box Wildlife Shelter is a no-public-admission shelter. This isn’t about keeping visitors away, it’s about giving our kangaroos the calm, low-stress environment they need to heal and safely return to the wild. You’re always welcome to reach out through our contact form below.
