We cannot possibly achieve our goal to provide free veterinary care to wildlife and their rescuers, carers and shelters without a little (ok, a lot!) of help from our friends and supporters. We are frequently in need of items to keep the clinic and storeroom stocked.
You can purchase and donate an item to send to us (email us for the details) or donate funds for us to purchase it.

HERE IS A WISH LIST OF THE ITEMS WE CURRENTLY NEED.Â
This is used on all patients here and on clinic day. Supplies are running low on the 5cm x 4.5m size. As the final layer to wound dressing, it’s imperative we always have some on stock for the kangaroo people.

NATURAL RAW ALMONDS
Natural raw unsalted almonds. The kangaroos love their almonds and these are a real treat for them. They are also good to hollow out to slip tablets into!
$12.40Â – $14.40 per kg HEREÂ or from your preferred place of purchase if you would like to send us a smaller quantity.

ZEBRA VET ADHESIVE BANDAGE BOX/12 ROLLS
Zebra wrap is one of the most common supplies used, not only here at the shelter, but on clinic day. It is used to keep bandages on and sealed from the outside world, ensuring no bacteria can enter the open wound/s. We are running low on supplies, so any amount donated would be greatly appreciated.
This is used to complete a deep clean on the huts once patients have returned home. Floors are removed and panels individually scrubbed down. This agent is Australian made and owned, plant based, vegan and devoid of chemicals. Perfect for our huts that house precious patientsÂ
The Gentle Giant Tongs are expertly engineered for the most humane non-contact handling of snakes, combining thoughtful design with superior materials to minimize stress and injury. Featuring triple rubber-coated top jaws, they create gentle drag along the snake’s body to ensure a secure yet comfortable hold, while the polished lower jaw presents a smooth surface that restricts forward movement without causing harm. Crafted from robust blue aircraft-grade aluminum tubing, the tongs incorporate a concealed stainless steel cable and spring system for reliable durability and control. Test results demonstrate that the Gentle Giant’s extra-wide 2 ¼ inch jaws significantly reduce stress during capture, allowing snakes to remain calmer compared to handling with standard tongs. Their broad grip disperses pressure evenly over a larger area, avoiding direct compression on individual ribs and effectively lowering the risk of musculoskeletal injury. This wider, gentler hold also enables faster and more secure handling, crucial for capturing swift species like water snakes and agile tree-dwellers, thereby reducing the chance of escape or injury. Unlike many other tools that are modified and potentially harmful, these tongs have undergone rigorous evaluation and have been approved by two Animal Ethics Committees as a safe and effective method for snake control. The Gentle Giant Tongs represent a trusted and indispensable tool for professionals and enthusiasts who prioritize animal welfare and safety during handling. Click HERE or image for linkÂ
